Thai Trade Seminar in Hyderabad
Opening Ceremony of Seminar and Business matching on” New Business Opportunities for Rubberwood Industry between India and Thailand ” on 18th Jan at ITC Kohenur.
H.E. Jurin Laksanawisit, Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Thailand visited Hyderabad with leading Thai business delegates. The Department of International Trade Promotion(DITP), Ministry of Commerce ,Thailand organized Business Matching and Networking between Thailand and India in Telangana State followed by a seminar on “New Business Opportunities for Rubberwood Industry between India & Thailand” on 18’th January 2020 at ITC Kohenur, Hyderabad. The Consul General of South Korean Consulate in Hyderabad, Mr. Suresh Chukkapalli was invited for the opening ceremony of the event along with lamp lighting followed by seminar with Thai business delegates on logistics, pharma, rubberwood and timber trade.
Welcome remarks were exchanged by Consul-General of Thailand (Mr. Nitirooge Phoneprasert) , Special Remarks by Guest of Honour (Honerable Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, Opening Remarks by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, His Excellency Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit along with other dignitaries.
Thai business comprise of various sectors in particular parawood and rubberwood, tapioca and modified starch, natural rubber & rubber products (mattress & pillow), MDF board and particle board, fresh Thai exotic fruits, frozen seafood & food products, chemical products (polyethylene), electronics (LED screen), cosmetics & skin care, apparel fieans), and logistics services. The Thai businesses aim to explore opportunities to businesses aim to explore opportunities to do business with industries inTelangana State.
