AP Chambers members talk business with Korean envoy

Office-bearers and members of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) on Friday held an interactive meeting with the Consul-General of the Republic of Korea (Chennai and Hyderabad) in Vijayawada to strengthen bilateral relations between AP and South Korea.The Consul General has been constantly engaging with the AP Chambers for the last few years to explore business collaboration and partnerships with the Republic of Korea.

During the meet, they discussed the possibility of exploring trade and partnership opportunities between Andhra Pradesh and Korea. As AP is strong in sectors like food processing, aqua, textiles, etc. the opportunities available for exporters from the State was discussed by the Consul General, Young-seup Kwon and the AP Chambers representatives.

They mentioned the success of major Korean companies and their ancillary companies in India and their future investments in the country.They discussed at length the support among AP Chambers, the Consulate General and KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) to help them have partnerships with Korean companies.They said that as South Korea imports large quantities of seafood, chillies and textiles, Andhra Pradesh has a huge potential to export to South Korea.

Representatives of the AP Chambers explained about their businesses and their plans to enter the Korean market.AP Chambers President, KVS Prakash Rao, General Secretary, Potluri Bhaskara Rao, and members of AP Chambers, M Murali Krishna, V Sambasiva Rao, G Vijaya Kumar, Ch Sambasiva Rao, T Parthasarathy, B Rajasekhar, P Koti Rao, Deepak N, G Venkateswara Rao, Phani Kiran and other members from Vijayawada and Guntur regions participated.
