Hyderabad hosts around 6000 refugees and asylum seekers from countries -Myanmar, Somali, Sudan, Yemen and Afghan including theRohingya Refugees from Myanmar who form the majority. ‘Save the Children’ NGO has been working with these refugees and asylum seekers in Hyderabad since 2015, as a partner of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)- the UN Refugee Agency with a mission to restore their lost human dignity.
